Weekly Recap 10-8-12 to 10-14-12

3 weeks left until the Rex Healthcare Half Marathon in Raleigh.  Just another normal week.  Nothing really to see here.

Starting weight – 244.2
Monday – Spinning – 50 minutes
Tuesday – Run – 5 miles
Wednesday – Yoga – 60 minutes
Thursday – Run – 5 miles
Friday – Weightlifting – 30 minutes
Saturday – Run – 4 miles
Sunday – Run – 9 miles + Yoga – 60 minutes
Total Mileage – 23 miles
Ending weight – 242.4 (1.8 pounds lost)

Lost back the 1.8 pounds that I gained last week, so my net loss for October so far is zero.

23 miles is my longest mileage mile week to date, busting past 20 miles.  I’m already at 43 miles for October (which beats some previous total months) and there’s still two and half weeks to go.  I should hit 91 miles for this month.

    I am a recent graduate in Food Science (NC State, 2009) and I work for a major food manufacturing company. I love food, but I can no longer eat anything that crosses my path. About 24 months ago I begin a serious struggle to get my obesity under control and reduce my chances of developing Type II diabetes. Since September of '09 I have lost 50 pounds and I still have a long ways to go. I've started eating better and exercising more, including taking up running.
